The kindergarten class had the special opportunity to learn about and observe the life cycle of chickens. Coordinated by a parent/veterinarian, an incubator set up in the classroom. Then, each child was given a fertilized egg to watch until it was time for the baby chicks to hatch! The chicks were then moved to a brooder so the students can watch them grow. Such a fun way to learn!
