Every year The Nativity School holds a Cultural Day which is intended to expose our students to the different traditions of countries from around the world. This year we selected the USA so that our student could learn more about the various regions across our great nation. They learned to make leis and talking sticks, race in the Indy 500 and climb the Rockies, they learned about the experiences of the Jamestown settlers and heard a Native American prayer. The students sampled food from many of our states and were given the opportunity about the different industries, traditions and hobbies that Americans enjoy from sea to shining sea. Our parent volunteers made each station come alive with interesting facts and beautiful displays. We are grateful for these types of experiences and are looking forward to next year already.
