SCHOOL ADVISORY BOARD

The School Advisory Board is established as a consultative body, responsible for advising the pastor and principal in matters of policy, planning, and finance for the School. All recommendations of the Board are subject to the approval of the pastor. Board members are appointed by the pastor and principal and serve for a three year term.

The main functions of the Board include:

  • recommending policies regarding the finances and operation of the school

  • developing a long range plan for the school

  • helping to create a better understanding of Catholic education in the community

  • making sure the school budget realistically reflects the needs of the school

  • establishing committees on a standing or ad hoc basis according to need

  • overseeing improvements of the physical plant and facilities
